Kimberly Anne Baker, age 59, of Tipton, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at her home. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on November 26, 1963, to her parents, Lowell Paul Cooper Jr. and Nancy Nell (Williams) Cooper. Kimberly married Mark Alan Baker on February 1, 2007.
Kim graduated from Sheridan High School, class 1982. She worked for AT&T as a distribution Manager before retiring.
In her high school years, she was an excellent softball player. She was a pitcher and took her team to State; all her amazingly hard work paid off. She had a once in a lifetime experience of participating in the foreign exchange program; she spent time in Sweden and loved every second of it!
Kim was a great cook and enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for her family. She cherished her relationships with her children and grandchildren. She was incredibly smart and was a whiz with technology. She was motivated and would do whatever necessary to accomplish the task at hand. Most importantly, Kim was caring and dependable. Her family knew she would always come through for them no matter what.
Those left to carry on Kim’s legacy of love are her mother, Nancy Williams; husband, Mark Baker; children, Nicholas Biddle, Nathaniel Biddle, Bryana (Brian Hamel) Baker, Nikoa Cooper, Billy Cooper; grandchildren, Jasmine Biddle, George Hamel, Lucas Hamel, Abigail Hamel, Gabriel Hamel, Elizabeth Hamel; siblings, Wendy Gary, and Fawn Gary.
Kim was welcomed into Heaven by her father, Lowell Paul Cooper Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Sheek Cemetery located at 300 Cemetery Road Mitchell, Indiana.
